Glomus tumors are are a family of slow growing tumours which often develop near the inner ear and cause problems as they expand and grow. Patients with glomus tumours can hear their heartbeat in their ears, have hearing loss, and a small minority may have voice changes or swallowing problems.
TREATMENT
Treatment for glomus tumors ranges from observation, to surgery and / or radiotherapy.
